Capacity building in PCA’s view
involves actions that enhance the
organization’s ability to work
towards its mission. It is similar
to the concept of organizational
development, organizational
effectiveness and/or organizational
performance management and it
includes a broad range of
approaches.
We in PCA conduct and facilitate
capacity building workshops and
trainings for other organizations
including NGOs, INGOs, Government
organizations and companies. At the
same time we focus on our own
organization’s capacity. We are keen
to deliver trainings on conflict
transformation, non-violent
approaches, psychosocial issues and
strategic planning for local and
international organizations.
We use participatory facilitation
methods that are interactive and
keep participants active and lively
throughout our programmes. We do not
lecture people we train; they at all
times have possibility to share
their experiences and ideas.
